Pink Granite Coast : Le Gouffre

Le Gouffre Two large lumps of granite at the end of a long rocky promontory to the north west of Ile Renote. Approach across the beach at low tide but note that retreat is quickly cut off by the incoming tide. Plenty of fun can be had here with several easy routes, scrambles and sea-level traverses. The north east face of the outer lump (pictured below) reaches a height of approximately 60 feet and presents a number of possibilities, unfortunately I didn’t have time to explore further.
